My portfolio showcases a diverse range of textiles designed for fashion textiles ranging from the children's, activewear, teen's, men's and women's wear markets.
CLIENTS
I graduated from RMIT Melbourne with a Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design in 2008. My career in the fashion textile industry began designing in-house for Warehouse, a women's fashion company based in London. This was followed by several years at Forever New a women's fashion brand located in Melbourne, Australia.
​These formative years provided me with invaluable experience and insights into the intricacies of textile design and production. Over the past decade, I have transitioned to a freelance career, collaborating with textile studios in London, such as Found Design Studio and Jack & Jones, as well as Five Points Graphics in New York, each serving a diverse clientele across the global fashion market.
ABOUT ME
I'm Simone, an Australian textile designer with 16 years of experience in the fashion textiles industry with a passion for creating intricate, feminine designs. My style blends hand painting with digital tools, resulting in unique, adaptable creations tailored to meet the needs of each client.
PROCESS
My greatest passion in recent years has been growing my skills in handpainting. I've particuarly come to love watercolour and inks. When needed I also enjoying using my Ipad with procreate to create digital hand illustrations. Working later in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to professionally finish designs so that they are in repeat and ready for production.
